Is it possible to knit together a music career that combines pop, hip-hop, R&B, with a dash of reggae on the side? Mainstream radio says no, but Fabion Anthony-Sweetland Pitter is on a mission to prove them wrong.

Born in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida but raised in Miami, Fabion's musical inclination was always present. The love of music displayed by his parents, Marcia and Anthony, was Fabion's main musical inspiration. Exposed to his father's musical profession as a DJ and his mother's admiration of the art form, Fabion's aspired to have a career in music. From elementary school, Fabion would always participate in school plays, musicals and concerts. Fabion received his high school diploma from Parkway Academy in 2003.

After graduating from high school, Fabion was confused about what direction he wanted to head in life. Entering multiple talent shows, he competed in rap battles and often times won them. In his more flamboyant and egotistical years, Fabion was mainly a gangsta rapper that was occasionally known to sing. As life took a series of wrong turns, he quickly matured and humbled himself as a well-rounded artist.

Fabion and his brother Anthony came up with the magical idea of forming their own entertainment company. Unity 9 Entertainment was formed in 2007 to encompass many talents in the South Florida community. The company covered photography and videography with a special focus on music. The brothers started from scratch and made a name for themselves performing in several cities across the country. Although the brothers performed 30-50 shows in the span of two years, the duo didn't quite make it as big as they had expected. Lack of good promotion, halted the siblings' musical career.

A traveling enthusiast, Fabion has travelled across the country and to various Caribbean destinations. His most memorable trip was to the island of Jamaica. The trip was a very humbling and life-altering experience. The poverty he had been exposed to in the United States was nothing compared to the hardships he encountered in some Jamaican neighborhoods. Driving through communities where homes were made from scraps of metal and wood, Fabion felt blessed. The mind-blowing trip compelled Fabion to create more conscious music.

Writing music off pure emotion is very essential in Fabion's creative process. Often times, Fabion will get home from a bad day and write positive uplifting songs. Fabion believes that music is just different emotions and life altering situations we all go through on a daily basis. Personal life experiences fuel most of the lyrics of Fabion's music. Whether it be a personal experience or from others, Fabion is always inspired by everyday situations. When talking to his friends and family, Fabion can write a song from just one word from their conversation together.

Fabion credits music greats Michael Jackson and Bob Marley as his biggest inspirations in the music industry. Michael Jackson's music went past Fabion's ears and struck his soul. He was the first artist to show Fabion that music was more than just sounds and vibrations but was instead life itself. Bob Marley's passionate love for equality is hard to find in music artists today. His socially conscious music and will to fight for what he believed in inspired Fabion to express real views through his own music.

Fabion's first big project was his street mixtape "Sky High", released in 2008. Hosted by NightBreederz and DJ Epps, the two-volume mixtape consisted of 32 songs. In 2011, Fabion teamed up with DJ Epps once again on "Yliaster". Fabion strives to produce an "off the wall" sound in his music. The music heard on the radio now tend to lack originality and share the same watered down and remixed sound. Fabion likes to step outside the box and incorporate a mixture of genres in his music. His writing patterns and energy are unlike anything regularly heard today. Whether it be a club banger or a romantic love ballad, Fabion just wants to produce quality music. His main goal is to make feel-good music with a positive energy.

Fabion urges aspiring young musicians to persevere no matter what struggles they may face during their journey. Diligently working on your craft and perfecting it every day makes a big difference in music. In the beginning of your musical journey, the music will not be perfect. It is important to take your time and be serious about your music. While others may doubt you, remember to have faith and believe in yourself.

Fabion is back in the musical 'kitchen' and has whipped up a hot new single entitled "Make You Popular". Pitter teamed up with producer Figgie McKnight to give the track the unique sound Fabion strives to create. The first question that comes to mind while hearing the track is "What genre is this?" The song is a perfect fusion of pop and hip-hop. Fabion is staying "hush hush" on his upcoming projects but assures his best work is yet to be heard.
